Miracles happen because "Chiropractic Works"

"I didn’t experience a miracle, but I’ve seen them…"

Atlanta Chiropractor, Dr. Kenneth Weil

Twenty years ago I discovered that design wasn’t really for me and that I would rather help people become healthier through a natural hands-on approach.

At that time, my experience with chiropractic was my mom’s story. She suffered with severe migraines and neck pain around 1976. The pain was so bad she was unable to teach her kindergarten class properly. It’s hard to be a sweet teacher when you are in pain and can’t move very well. It affected our household too. To find some relief she always asked me for massages. She felt like the pain and discomfort was going to last forever.

She tried everything; exercise, yoga, drugs and traction. I can still remember seeing her strapped under the chin and hanging from the door from a traction device. Nothing helped her pain. After considering surgery, (that was the only option given by medical doctor she was going to), she decided against it. Then a friend of hers convinced her to give a chiropractor a try. You can guess what the result of that meeting was since I'm now a chiropractor. She got relief, and she was able to function normally again. I'm sure the children in her class appreciated their old teacher back again. We sure liked having our mom back too.

I always wanted to do something to help people and still earn a good living. I saw chiropractic as a way to do both and I am very happy with my decision. Everyday I get to witness miracles. People walk in bent over an often walk out standing straight. It is nice to know I make a difference in the lives of many.

Chiropractic Education

I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Industrial Design from Auburn University and later received my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. It was surprising at the depth of study involving human biology, anatomy and neurology that was necessary to obtain a degree in chiropractic. Seeing how the nervous system controls all the functions of the body was especially interesting. The many dissection and anatomy courses we were required to take revealed the intricacy and interconnectivity of all systems of the body. This new understanding allowed me to become a true health and healing advocate.

The Mission of Chiropractic Works Health Center

Our mission is to help our community reach their optimum health with chiropractic care. --ESPECIALLY CHILDREN!!!

At Chiropractic Works Health Center we specialize in helping YOUR BODY heal from a variety of conditions. Chronic low back pain, neck pain, allergies, headaches, migraines, fibromyalgia, bursitis, ear nfections, jaw pain and even digestive disturbances are among the few conditions that respond. Traumas, such as falls and auto or vehicle accidents cause whiplash and a condition where the nerves in the spine become pinched. This causes your body to malfunction. We gently align the vertebrae of the spine and remove the "pinched nerve", known as a subluxation. Then and only then can your body begin to heal itself and your quality of life has to improve.

We are a family oriented chiropractic practice and offer both relief and wellness care. Many patients begin care in our office with a specific health concern and then realize that chiropractic is all about optimal health ...how to get well faster and stay well longer.

We'd love to meet you. Call our office today to schedule a no-obligation appointment.

Dr. Ken Asks some important questions of interest to Atlanta residents - Chiropractor Atlanta Dr. Ken Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Atlanta chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
